What is a BioSkier? Be a More Conscientious Mountain User

I keep saying, like a broken record I am told regularly- last winter more so than every I saw the brutal effects of climate change. The Glaciers of the Alps are receding and melting at an alarming rate, but not only that our seasons are getting shorter and shorter and the powder, when it does arrive, it far less abundant.

This is something I cannot settle with myself. That is why I went vegan. To begin reducing bit by bit, my own impact on the environment and help reduce global deprivation. However this awesome little edit has shown us of the ski and snowboard community, how we can do our little part too without being as radical as going Vegan. From taking trains and travelling less or in groups, by hiking and being more conscientious, we too can feel the thrill and exhilaration of mountain life yet sleep well knowing we are helping contribute to the bigger picture and a whiter more snowy future.

So yet another video share from Vaude, expect many more, as a company at the forefront of  the eco friendly textiles industry, they have a lot to teach us!
